The EU SOCRATES project has the pleasure to announce Mobility program in 2026 for young researchers to experience exchange, meetings participation and, possibly, research performance in the frame of SOCRATES project.
The SOCRATES project addresses critical gaps in our understanding of the liquid source term during severe nuclear accidents and offers innovative solutions to mitigate and monitor the release of radionuclides into the environment.
To apply for the Mobility program, use the following guide:
- Check and select available positions (activities) provided by SOCRATES Host organizations.
- HOST: Fill in the information form about possible positions for Mobility program.
- CANDIDATE: Fill in the application form including motivation letter for selected position, CV, and confirmation from supervisor.

- Application deadline: December 31, 2025
- Notification of application approval: March 1, 2026
- Duration: up to 3 months
- Selection criteria: Based on the adequacy of the scientific profile, interest and need of the candidate with the proposed position to develop expertise in the field of SOCRATES project. The host organization can conduct an interview with an applicant as needed
- Budget: Up to 3000 EURO for one application for transportation and accommodation.
- After completion of the program, the applicant will provide a short report with the main results
